How we recommend
A Recomenda2 recommendation isn't a random opinion. It's the result of a process that combines artificial intelligence tools with human editorial review.
We gather the information
Specs, expert reviews, videos, forums and buyer opinions. AI tools let us process far more volume than a person could read.
We look for the problems
We read negative reviews closely: repeated failures, refurbished units sold as new, delays or warranties that aren't honoured.
We compare where to buy
We cross-check platforms and sellers: final price, instalments, reputation, track record, shipping and after-sales.
An editor decides
Our editorial team reviews everything, verifies the key data and decides whether the product gets the Recommended stamp. Nothing is published without that review.
What we look at in the product
- What it's for and who it's right for. Not everyone needs the most expensive model.
- Specs and versions. Differences between models, capacities and regional variants.
- Real-world experience. What owners say, in the short and long term.
- Value for money. Whether the price is justified against the alternatives.
What we look at in the seller
Buying the same product can be a great experience or a headache depending on who you buy it from. That's why we evaluate:
- Reputation and track record on the platform, favouring sellers with history and sales volume.
- After-sales and warranty: how they handle complaints and whether they deliver what they promise.
- Logistics: real shipping times and delivery options.
- Stock quality: no signs of defective, refurbished or dubious-origin products.
What we look at in the price
- Final price, including shipping and taxes when applicable.
- Instalments and payment methods: sometimes paying upfront is better, sometimes interest-free instalments are.
- Current promotions and whether the "discount" is real.
- Buying abroad or in a local store: when it's better, we say so.
Why we don't use scores
Stars and numbered rankings tend to suggest a precision that doesn't exist. We prefer a clear conclusion (Recommended or Not recommended) along with the reasons, the pros, the cons and who each product is for.
Editorial independence
Commissions never decide a recommendation. If a product doesn't convince us, we say so even if it means earning nothing. If the best option is in a store we're not affiliated with, we show it too.
Updates and corrections
Prices and conditions change fast. Each review shows its update date and we review it periodically. If you find a mistake, write to us and we'll fix it.
Important: prices, stock and promotions are set by each store and can change at any time. Always check them before buying.
